Our Projects & Achievements
Echekwu Damian Foundation (EDF) is poised at addressing poverty through empowerment of rural dwellers, provision of social amenities, establishment of a happy, crime-free society-within the rural environment, to this effect we have completed the following projects and programs:
Organized seminars on HIV/AIDS for secondary schools, churches and communities in Aboh-Mbaise L.G.A
Attended and participated in workshops and round table discussions organized by international bodies including NBC/BBC on several occasions. etc.
Participated in National and international conferences on NGO operations.
Sunk a bore-hole in Umuhu village.
Organized awareness campaigns on school building renovation in some villages
Prepared a list of rural projects for implementation pending availability of funds by grantors.
Awards & Achievements
Award of certificate as the BEST participated NGO on HIV/AIDS seminar and work shop, succeeded in campaign of the fight against HIV/AIDS, contributed in alleviating the sufferings of the populace win provision of water bore hole for rural Community.
Distribution of mosquitoes nets to Rural Children.
Organization of football tournament for youth empowerment.
Reception of international award.
Country representative at UNOWA field office in Lome, Togo and lots more.

Activities/programs EDF Plans to Implement.
(a) Renovation of the collapsing school building at Egbelu-Umuhu Community Primary School.
(b) Provision of desk, VIP latrines and school libraries to two identified primary schools.
(c) Provision of hospital equipment to the Egbulu-Umuhu Health Centre.
(d) Award of Secondary School Scholarships.
(e) Providing legal aid to the Niger Delta areas denied human rights.
(f) Provision of solar powered products to communities that need them.
